Fiddlershop in Memphis

All about Fiddlershop and the FedEx Small Business Grant Contest 2018.

When Fiddlershop decided to apply for FedEx Small Business Grant Contest 2018, they had no idea what was coming.

Half a year later, they had received third place out of 7,800 applicants - and were also chosen for the Alumni Choice Award.

The main reason is Pierre Holstein’s, aka Fiddlerman’s, passion for teaching people to play the violin for free. Up to date, he has produced 345 free tutorials on Youtube as Fiddlerman.

—Not only did we receive $7,500 in grant and $1,000 dollars in office services, that we already have spent on going out to eat and bowl with our employees and our charity projects in Haiti and Cuba, says Pierre.

—Michael Holstein, my son and co-founder, and I even got to visit FedEx headquarters in Memphis, together with the 9 other companies that won.

—It’s been a great ride and we feel very blessed and honored! We never had any expectations, that’s for sure.
